Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Piping Designer to join our Mandeville team.
Position Type : Full-time
Location : Mandeville, LA
Work Environment : Office / Sedentary
Travel Requirements : Occasional site visits required.
Essential Functions :
Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design.
Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
Review of drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
Ensures all drawings have been properly checked.
Prepares and / or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED
3 - 10 years of working experience
Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D
Strong Written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
Attention to detail.
Experience Preferred :
Associates degree in CAD
CADWorx experience
Plant 3D experience
Field experience
