Overview:
We are seeking an experienced foreman to join our paving team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing asphalt projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of paving management and a proven track record of successfully managing construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate paving projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee the installation of materials and equipment, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed to the required standard.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that the project meets the required standards.
- Ensure that all construction site activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations.
- Ability to manage and coordinate the work of multiple subcontractors.
- Experience with quality control procedures and protocols.
- Familiarity with contract management and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
