A global leader in premium nutrition and wellness is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to enhance internal processes and drive quality improvements. With a strong market presence across multiple countries, the company specializes in delivering high-quality pet and human nutrition products, emphasizing innovation, transparency, and safety.
Role Overview:
Based in Orlando, FL, this on-site position will focus on refining quality processes, creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring overall efficiency within the quality function. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to implement structured improvements, support compliance efforts, and prepare for regulatory audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and improve current quality processes, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Develop and implement SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Oversee quality assurance efforts to maintain product safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare for and support FDA audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet compliance requirements.
- Provide training and support for ongoing quality improvements.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, and food safety management.
- 3 years in the pet food or dietary supplement industry, with expertise in 21 CFR 11, 21 CFR 111, and 21 CFR 117.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Strong background in developing and executing SOPs and process improvements.
- Experience managing FDA audits and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
This on-site role requires working 5 days per week in the Orlando office.
