Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a full time Benefits and Leave Coordinator to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
The Benefits & Leave Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of employee group benefit programs and leave administration. This position provides excellent customer service to employees and administrative, analytical, and technical support related to benefits and leave administration.

The Benefits & Leave Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of employee group benefit programs and leave administration. This position provides excellent customer service to employees and administrative, analytical, and technical support related to benefits and leave administration.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and respond to department inquiries to ensure appropriate, timely, equitable, and courteous resolutions
- Investigate and analyze concerns and discrepancies to facilitate resolutions of benefit issues
- Process daily employee benefit enrollment activity, including new-hires, status changes, qualifying life events, and terminations
- Verify HRIS system and carrier databases are accurately updated for all enrollments
- Coordinate Health Insurance Premium Payment Program and Qualified Medical Child Support Order with state and county agencies, including correspondence and associated health insurance enrollment activity
- Submit employee disability and death claims with insurance carrier
- Process monthly invoices and prepare vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all group plans
- Coordinate the leave process between employee, supervisor, third party vendors, and local Human Resources team
- Track and enter time and attendance for payroll to ensure adherence to leave policies and procedures
- Identify and collect missed employee benefit payroll premiums
- Full time, Non exempt position
- Hybrid remote position, working remotely and out of the Harrisburg office
- $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience providing administrative support
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information.
- Intermediate computer skills, ability to use and learn Human Resources Information Systems and other web-based systems
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
- Experience in Human Resources or Leave Administration
