Capital Area Head Start is seeking a full time Health Coordinator to join our mission of making a difference in the lives of children, empowering parents, and strengthening families.
As a Health Coordinator you will oversee the delivery of health services in a non-clinical capacity. This position provides health, dental, and nutrition focused education, support, and training to staff, families, and children.
Health Coordinators earn a minimum of $24.89 per hour. Schedules are based according to the school year and include 1950 work hours. Additional benefits include a competitive benefits package comprised of medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401K, and more!

Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with case management or pediatric experience
- Two years of experience working in healthcare field or with the specified age group
- Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and learn web based systems
- Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle, or public transportation
- Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
- Passion, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to make a difference
- Experience in Head Start or Early Head Start is preferred
