Job Title: Direct Support Professional
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in creating a healthy, engaging, and supportive living environment for people with intellectual disabilities.
- Create a typical home setting that fosters independence and dignity.
- Teach and assist with daily living skills such as cooking, light housekeeping, personal care, and hygiene.
- Promote and advocate for the health and wellness of the individuals supported.
- Support individuals in becoming independent, making decisions, and living a meaningful life with valued social roles.
- Provide transportation within the community and to medical appointments as necessary.

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to utilize internal software programs.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Successful completion of required trainings, including First Aid and CPR certifications and others mandated by regulations.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
