What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health - Program Coordinator position at Keystone Human Services?
Keystone Mental Health Services is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
The Work:
- Provide quality supports to adults with mental illness in a residential home
- Act as a role model and mentor to staff and assist the Program Supervisor to monitor aspects of program operations as needed
- Assist individuals to become more independent, allowing each person in our services to take a lead role in their own rehabilitation process
- Provide personal care, administer medications, and mentor individuals following their treatment and support plans
- Assist with cooking, cleaning, and other household responsibilities.
- Plan meaningful recreational activities and take individuals into the community and to appointments as needed
- Complete daily documentation as required
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-6 months experience working in human services or related field
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to learn and apply proficient computer skills, including the use of software and web based system
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulations
- Ability to obtain Program Administrator certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver's license and daily access to a properly insured vehicle
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
