Laboratory Screening Analyst (1st Shift)

Our Screening Team is searching for qualified Laboratory Screening Analyst (1st Shift) with personality, exceptional people skills and a positive attitude.
Position summary:
The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for the testing and processing of clinical/forensic toxicology samples.
Education requirements:
At a minimum, this position requires a bachelor’s degree in applied science.
Specific lab experience required:
- Experience operating an immunoassay analyzer and reviewing data.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage controlled workflow in a fast paced testing environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Schedule routine and emergency service of instrument fleet including immunoassay analyzers.
- Oversight of consumable inventory.
- Use effective written and verbal communication skills to cooperatively work with customers and staff; communicate regularly and effectively with laboratory and operations staff.

Work environment:
The Analyst may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call as business needs dictate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to infectious and hazardous chemicals as outlined in the Laboratory Safety Manual.
