Summary
Keystone Law Group is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to enhance our dynamic and growing trust and estate litigation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in litigation practice and demonstrate key skills such as strong legal research, persuasive writing, analytical thinking, client service, and teamwork. Associate attorneys will work on an assignment/project basis under the direction of Senior attorneys and Partners, and also may be assigned as a handling attorney on smaller matters. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and adapt well to firm processes and technology, and eager to learn a new practice area. The firm will provide extensive training during the onboarding process.

Location
Position is hybrid with 2 days per week in the office. Will consider fully remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Research legal issues for trust and estate litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, discovery, memorandums, motions and other legal documents
- Assist with trust and estate litigation matters from inception through trial
- Make court appearances in the probate courts
- Assist with probate administrations from initiation of proceedings to discharge of personal representative
- Assist with conservatorship or guardianship matters from initiation of proceedings to representation of conservators or guardians for the duration of these matters
- Other projects, as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in probate, trusts and estate law
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Must possess extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
Education and Experience
- At least 1-3 years of demonstrated litigation experience in any legal field; a background in probate law is preferred but is not required
- Strong academic record, as well as law review membership highly preferred
- CA Bar membership required
Salary Range
- $120,000 - $160,000 Base salary plus competitive bonuses and benefits
