About the Program & Position
Eastern Maine Medical Center performs a steady volume of CABG and VALVE procedures, with minimal ECMO involvement and no VADs or transplants.
You’ll join a dedicated team of 4 full-time perfusionists, splitting call responsibilities evenly to promote a healthy work-life balance.
Additionally, cases requiring cell saver are handled by the hospital’s dedicated PBMT team, removing that responsibility from perfusionists and allowing full focus on cardiac procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program
- Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
- American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS Certification
Skills & Competencies:
