What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Assistant position at Keystone Powdered Metal Company?
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Operations Assistant who will be working in our Lewis Run, PA location. This person will report to the Plant Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
· Answering, directing and general screening of incoming calls.
· Assists all departments with day-to-day support including clerical work and general administration.
· Balance checkbook with bank statement and maintain petty cash. Perform end of month reconciliation with banking. Process reimbursements from Petty cash.
· Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference rooms.
· Contact vendors when necessary.
· Assist with mid/end of year Physical inventory.
· Assist Supervisors with weekly green counts.
· Enter labor cards, purchase requisitions, receive in Pos in LN system.
· Coordinates with 3B to order office supplies as necessary, maintain storage closet in orderly fashion.
· Assist with the Safety training software and badge making system.
· Assist with weekly Kaizen program and other Kaizen functions established by the Kaizen Engineer onsite.
· Handle incoming and out going mail, packages, and deliveries.
· Participate in special projects and other duties as required
