What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Floor Quality Technician position at Keystone Powdered Metal Company?
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Shop Floor Quality Technician who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Quality Lab Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Production personnel in maintaining craftsmanship of product.
- Setup and operate all inspection equipment in production
- Compare test results, including visual analysis, to part requirements and call attention to exceptions
- Gather samples, collect data and record results
- Interpret process records and inspection plans
- Read and interpret simple blueprints
- Assist Quality Assurance Process Control Technicians with day-to-day requirements
- Assist in developing procedures and writing reports
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED Required
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
