What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School Math Instructor position at Keystone School?

Keystone School seeks a
full-time mathematics instructor
with a start date of August 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year. Keystone School provides talented and motivated students with a world-class, well-rounded educational experience in a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages academic excellence, ethical growth, community involvement and responsible leadership.
We welcome applicants committed to teaching history in an accelerated environment. Successful candidates will have a passion for working with high school aged students.
Required qualifications and experience include :
A commitment to Keystone School's mission
Experience teaching AP Statistics and AP Calculus AB and BC courses or college related equivalent courses
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Staying current with trends in Math education
Understanding of developmental stages in adolescence
Ability to function as a member of a team and to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents
Ability to plan and work with grade level teams
Ability to serve as an advisor to upper school aged students
Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in educating Upper School students
Preferred qualifications include :
Experience working with advanced and gifted math students
Experience running a math or robotics club
Masters or PhD degree
