What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Keystone SiteWorks?
We’re hiring experienced Equipment Operators to run excavators, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy machinery on active utility and sitework projects. You'll be responsible for trenching, grading, loading, and supporting pipe installation crews.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, and compactors
- Excavate and backfill trenches for water, storm, and sewer pipe installation
- Grade to spec using laser or GPS (when available)
- Load materials, move aggregate, and support pipe crews
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Work closely with pipe layers and site supervisors
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient job sites
Requirements:
- 2 years operating heavy equipment (excavator experience preferred)
- Familiar with sitework, trenching, and utility installs
- Able to read grade stakes and follow direction
- Physically fit and comfortable working in all weather
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or willing to obtain (preferred)
