About the role
Qualified candidates will possess a Minimum of 2 years prior experience as an Asphalt Luteman, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and application of asphalt on various construction projects. This role involves working closely with the paving crew to ensure the smooth and efficient completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites for asphalt application.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Spread, level, and smooth asphalt using asphalt lute and equipment.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in asphalt paving.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with the paving crew to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in asphalt paving is required
- Skid loader experience preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in asphalt paving.
- Experience in ADA compliance or Sports and recreation courts and tracks preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CDL Preferred
- OSHA 10 Preferred
- Willingness to learn and be flexible.
- Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.

Compensation- Salary: $20-30/per hour based on experience opportunity for prevailing wage rate Overtime as needed
