About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. Qualified candidates will possess a 3 year minimum prior experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes, to assist in the construction of Sporting facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with the site crew to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in ADA compliance or Sports and recreation courts and tracks
• CDL Preferred
• OSHA 10 Preferred
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.
• Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.

Compensation- Salary: $25-35/per hour based on experience opportunity for prevailing wage rate Overtime as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
