Job Overview
Keystone Wood Specialties is seeking an experienced Woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in woodworking and cabinet making with the ability to interpret drawings and material sheets to execute projects with precision. The Woodworker will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality craftsmanship with adherences to our quality standards. This individual will work in our drawer box department where they will work with others within the team to manufacture quality drawer boxes.
Duties
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to identify wood species.
- Ability to read material sheets and run woodworking equipment such as the dovetail machine, table saw, laser engraver etc.
- Must be driven to meet order deadlines while producing a quality product.
- Ability to step into multiple positions to fill in for those on vacation or sick.
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to train others and cross train into other areas.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with overtime as required. Competitive pay rate based on prior knowledge this candidate brings to this position. Keystone takes pride in providing a clean shop.
