Position Summary:
As a Fuel Sales Representative, you will be responsible for soliciting new wholesale fuel business in industries such as construction, agriculture, and commercial sectors. You will play a key role in growing our customer base, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new wholesale fuel sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed sales and profit objectives
- Complete and manage contracts, agreements, and all necessary sales documentation
- Utilize pricing, purchasing, terminal, and transportation logistics systems
- Submit timely and accurate weekly sales reports
- Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities using CRM software
- Participate in sales and training meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Implement company policies and initiatives
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams
- Assist with credit and collections processes
- Monitor and report competitive market intelligence
- Commit to ongoing product knowledge and skill development
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in fuel or related industries
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to travel regularly within the region
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and dependable transportation
