What are the responsibilities and job description for the Import Operations Specialist position at Keywest Logistics?
We are a Pasadena-based family own logistics company looking for an experienced Import Operations Specialist to join our small team based in Pasadena, California. Prior experience in logistics is required. This position is ideal for individuals who already have 2 years of logistics experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination and scheduling of freight shipments, including the preparation of necessary documentation (ISF, duty, etc.)
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry related to shipments and logistics operations.
- Track shipments to ensure they comply with customer controls and regulatory requirements.
- Handle phone and email communications with clients, partners, and internal teams to follow up on shipment statuses, resolve inquiries, and ensure timely updates.
- Provide occasional general administrative support to the team.
Qualifications:
- The ability to communicate in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a must. Writing proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not required.
- 2 years experience working in supply chain and/or logistics.
- Bachelor or Associates degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
