Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to team members in areas such as food preparation, customer service, and kitchen management.
- Ensure the bar and dining areas are well-maintained, clean, and organized at all times.
- Assist with catering events as needed, coordinating with kitchen staff to meet customer requirements.
- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing and inventory management.
- Train new employees on food service protocols, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during shifts to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards of excellence.
Experience
- Previous experience in casual dining or food service environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with chicken preparation and filtering is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management practices.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both customers and staff.
