Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up
Enhancing the food safety and quality assurance programs
- Maintain food safety excellence by leading Distribution Center (DC) food safety and quality audits, overseeing compliance with Yum! Global food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in barcode scan rates, temperature monitoring, and aged credit resolution.
- Enhance the quality assurance program by developing business intelligence tools to analyze DC hotline data and proactively communicate trends to RSCS, DC partners, and Product Managers.
- Support restaurant operations by managing the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Hotline, documenting issues, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring timely resolution of product quality and safety concerns.
- Up-skill the food safety team by partnering with HR, Operations, and Training teams to develop food safety training materials and release monthly communications on best practices for preventing FSCC violations.
- Uphold adherence to Yum! Corporate standards by maintaining up-to-date FSCC content and ensuring timely communication across the system.
- Build the team’s knowledge and proficiency by coordinating training and coaching for QA team members and Help Desk partners responsible for handling product quality and safety emergencies.
- Maintain comprehensive visibility of QA performance by working closely with the Operations team to track FSCC failures, responding to deviations with warning letters, and escalating violations to the Legal team as necessary.

What You Bring To The Table
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university, preferably in a technical/science-related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s or 3 years of experience with a Master’s.
- Prior experience in food industry, specifically QSR, preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong team player that contributes to a positive and productive team environment; able to build strong relationships with teammates and stakeholders to deliver on day-to-day mission.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
