Job Summary
We are seeking an entry level detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. We have grown from 2 people to 6 in two years and have a very fast paced office. The ideal candidate has 2 years experience and will be responsible for managing and processing invoices for clients and reconciling bank accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of Quickbooks desktop and QB Online version and basic accounting principles, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and scheduling payments for client.
- Download banking and credit card data into QB software, expense to correct GL codes (Must have knowledge of this) and reconcile within the software against the statements.
- Admin duties, scanning, client forms and answering phones.
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position is preferred.
- Strong understanding of debits and credits, tax regulations, and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team environment.
