Application Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Application Developer. Summary: The Application Developer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing database-driven web applications. These applications are built using a mix of technologies, including MS SQL, custom workflow engines, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and C#. Roles and Responsibilities: Web Application Development:

• Code, test, and maintain web applications
• Modify and improve existing applications using SQL, custom workflow engines, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, and .NET
  
  

Database Design & Development:

• Enhance and design relational databases with proficiency in T-SQL
• Create and manage stored procedures, views, user-defined functions, triggers, and tables
  
  

API Development

• Develop and/or support service-oriented APIs
  
  

Bug Resolution

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs or failures in applications
  
  

Collaboration & Communication:

• Adhere to SDLC policies, using tools like JIRA and Bitbucket
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver effective solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and production-ready solutions
  
  

Training & Development:

• Participate in staff training and cross-training activities
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web development, including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, and .NET
• 3-5 years of experience in Azure development (a plus)
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) methodologies
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
