AWS Administrator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking an AWS Administrator to join their Cloud Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth deployment, operation, and maintenance of applications running on AWS Kubernetes (EKS). Responsibilities:

• The AWS Administrator will ensure 24/7 availability of cloud applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed
• Manage application deployments and AWS migrations in a fully cloud-native environment (no data center operations)
• Work closely with the DevOps team, reviewing and debugging Terraform scripts-no scripting required, but must be able to analyze and troubleshoot
• Utilize Helm and YAML to manage Kubernetes configurations and deployments
• The AWS Administrator will collaborate with teams using GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure
  
  

Requirements

• AWS experience (strong experience required)
• Kubernetes experience (EKS)
• Terraform experience (reading/debugging experience)
• Helm experience
• YAML experience
• GitLab experience
• Datadog experience (monitoring and observability tools) is nice to have
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
