BIM Detailer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a BIM Detailer for a 2-3 months contract to hire opportunity. This role is on-site and can sit at any of these locations: Sparks, NV; Fremont, CA; Lathrop/Palo Alto/Reno, CA; Austin, TX. Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex projects and can multi-task and collaborate technically with several disciplines. The BIM Detailer will work under the technical supervision Construction Managers, Engineers, and Architects. Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Detailing: Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on specifications and design plans using BIM software like Revit
• Collaboration: Working closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure that drawings are accurate and meet project requirements
• Revisions: Updating and revising drawings as needed based on feedback and changes in project scope
• Quality Control: Ensuring that all drawings comply with company standards and relevant building codes
• Documentation: Maintaining organized records of all drawings and related documents
• Coordination: Assisting in the coordination of different building systems to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth integration
• Support: Providing support to the project team by answering questions and resolving any issues related to the drawings
• Strong working knowledge of common construction materials and methods, especially within MEP divisions with understanding of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Airflow Diagrams, and Electrical One Line Diagrams
  
  

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required
• 5-10 years of experience
• Revit, Bluebeam experience
• Experience in mechanical details for fabrication
• Exerience developing piping spool drawings
• Industrial experience
• Commercial experience is fine if they have wide range of experience
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
