Kforce has a client in Marshall, MI that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCIE On-Site Engineer to support the client's network implementation. Summary: The Engineer will be responsible for participating in the planning, design, and implementation of the network, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of network equipment installation, configuration, and testing, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities:

- Participate on the client's behalf in the planning, design, and implementation of the network to help ensure alignment with stakeholder and business requirements
- Support the client to ensure the proper installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment
- Collaborate across teams to ensure coherence and effective communication
- Communicate technical details clearly to diverse audiences while overseeing technical aspects
- Review and validate network design, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards
- Assist the client with deliverables and breaking down the project into domains (e.g., routing, switching, security, wireless)
- Define specific tasks and responsibilities for each domain
- Address integration points and dependencies
- Identify potential risks (e.g., technical, resource-related, schedule) and propose mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Schedule regular status meetings and assist the client with reports (status, progress, issues) and their distribution
- Assist the client in defining the criteria for successful project completion
- Start the day with a team meeting to discuss the day's objectives and any ongoing issues
- Review the design and implementation plan, ensuring all tasks are on track
- Collaborate with team members to address any technical challenges or integration points
- CCIE certification is required
- Proven experience in network planning, design, and implementation
- Strong understanding of network equipment installation, configuration, and testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Palo Alto networks is a benefit
