Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Compensation Analyst in Washington, DC. Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Analyst will conduct comprehensive compensation analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
  • Develop and maintain salary structures, job classifications, and compensation policies
  • Perform market pricing and benchmarking studies to evaluate the competitiveness of our compensation programs
  • Collaborate with HR and management to design and implement incentive and bonus programs
  • Analyze and interpret compensation data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
  • As a Compensation Analyst, you will participate in annual salary review processes, including merit increases and promotions
  • Prepare and present compensation reports and dashboards to stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and administration of job evaluation and grading systems
  • Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related matters

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Compliance Analyst experience in a mid-large size organization or professional services organization
  • In-depth experience with HRIS Systems (Workday preferred but similar system could substitute)
  • Strong Excel skills - role will be creating spreadsheets of data for benchmarking (Functions = data entry, pivot tables, V/H look ups, macros, etc.)
  • Strong organization, analytical, and financial modeling skills, with proven ability to translate analysis into themes and recommended actions
  • Strong planning, problem solving & execution skills
  • Ability to work confidentially with sensitive information
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
