Kforce has a client in the Northwest Suburbs of Milwaukee that is looking for a Cost Accountant to oversee cost accounting activities. This role includes tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the cost of manufacturing processes to ensure accurate accounting of cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, production costs and gross margin. In this role, you will interact with all levels of the Company and will directly contribute to our success through accurate cost tracking, variance analysis, and providing actionable insights that will ultimately improve financial performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of five years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with standard costing, cost of goods sold and gross margin variance analysis
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
