Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Data Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst with a passion for technology and analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively. This role will involve researching and analyzing data related to programming, engineering, and local government, helping to inform strategic decisions and optimize our cable and video content offerings. Responsibilities:

• Performs data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting
• Designs, tests, and documents processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures
• Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites
• Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization
• Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports
• Develop reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations
• Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and project management, to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the telecommunications or media industry
• Requires experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills essential
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset
• Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence and self-motivation
• Knowledge or experience in product management, project management, or strategic analysis is desirable
• Familiarity with cable and video content, local government structures, and the telecommunications landscape is a plus
• Experience with Visio is a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
