Summary: We are seeking a Director of IT Data Management and Governance to lead technical data strategies, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant data. This role involves directing solutions that support data governance frameworks, maximizing the value of data assets. The ideal candidate has significant expertise in data governance, data quality, metadata management, and regulatory compliance. They will collaborate across business and technology teams to foster a strong data-driven culture. Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with technology and business leaders to develop and implement technology initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee software platforms, integrating technical advancements within application roadmaps
- Lead optimization efforts for applications and infrastructure to meet defined service agreements
- Evaluate and select third-party software solutions consistent with strategic goals
- Develop and maintain future technology roadmaps that emphasize scalability, quality, cost-efficiency, and performance
- Stay informed on industry trends, integrating emerging technologies to deliver business value
- Manage resource planning, vendor relationships, and operational troubleshooting
- Oversee employee development, performance management, and corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and security standards
- Manage budgets efficiently, benchmarking against industry standards
- Implement and promote enterprise-wide data governance standards for quality, security, privacy, and compliance
- Establish effective metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data cataloging processes
- 10 years of experience in data management, governance, or architecture
- Expertise in data governance frameworks (DAMA DMBOK, DCAM)
- Familiarity with data management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend, Microsoft Purview, and Snowflake
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulatory requirements
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and cross-functional teams
- Technical proficiency with data architectures, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), APIs, and data integration
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value
- Certifications such as CDMP or DGSP preferred
