Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of Engagement Marketing in South Jordan, UT. Summary: We are looking for a visionary Director of Engagement Marketing to drive user retention and deepen engagement within our app. In this role, you will craft and execute data-driven strategies to ensure users stay actively involved, fostering long-term loyalty. If you are a leader with a passion for omnichannel marketing and have a track record of delivering impactful results, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Strategy: Design and implement campaigns that drive app usage, boost retention, and reactivate dormant users
  • Personalization & Segmentation: Utilize data insights to deliver tailored experiences that resonate with diverse customer groups
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Own the full lifecycle journey-including onboarding, activation, engagement, and re-engagement-to maximize user retention
  • Thematic & Seasonal Campaigns: Develop targeted marketing initiatives aligned with seasonal trends, product launches, and user interests
  • Omnichannel Execution: Oversee cohesive engagement efforts across digital channels such as push, email, social, and in-app messaging
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Tech, Creative, and Analytics teams to optimize messaging and elevate the user experience
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in lifecycle, engagement, or retention marketing, ideally in a digital product or subscription-based environment
  • Proven leadership experience in managing marketing teams and cross-functional initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and A/B testing (Braze experience is a plus!)
  • Expertise in omnichannel marketing, with a strong background in campaign execution across multiple digital touchpoints
  • Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data, identifying trends, and optimizing engagement strategies accordingly
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for creativity, community-building, and user experience enhancement
  • A data-driven strategist who uses analytics to shape and refine marketing initiatives
  • An omnichannel marketing expert skilled in leveraging push notifications, email, in-app messaging, and social platforms to create seamless user experiences
  • A retention-focused leader who understands how to make an app an essential part of users' daily or weekly routines
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and aligns marketing efforts with business objectives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
