Director of Finance Technical Operations

Responsibilities

Our Kforce client, a leading global and profitable publicly traded biotechnology company is seeking to hire a Director of Finance Technical Operations in Cambridge, MA. The client offers strong benefits package, PTO, 12 holidays, Insurance benefits and 401(k) match. Duties:

• Director of Finance Technical Operations will develop a strong business partner relationship with the Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Process Development functions
• Develop a financial performance management platform for the Technical Operations Organization
• Manage the financial planning and analysis processes including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for technical operations
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiently
• Timely financial reporting
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required
• Work closely with the technical and operations teams to align financial strategies with operational goals
• As a Director of Finance Technical Operations, you will ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards applicable to technical operations
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
• Lead and mentor finance teams involved in technical financial operations, promoting professional development and best practices
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar: CPA is required
• Significant work experience in manufacturing, inventory, and finance
• Strong experience with Cost Accounting
• Experience with financial software and tools, Oracle OPM financials is a plus
• Efficient knowledge of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
• Fostering and mentoring accounting teams
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
