Engineer II

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking an Engineer II. Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development and integration work, delivering high quality code and solutions and creating reusable solutions which can be easily configured for different use case flexibility and scale
• Active member of an engineering scrum team
• Collaborate with team members, engineering peers, and stakeholders for engineering deliverables
• Write and enhance code for microservices in Golang or Python
• Deploy code and infrastructure changes in multi-cloud targets
• Automate common support tasks and related to help improve service delivery
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4 years of progressive experience demonstrating outcome driven, programming and engineering skills
• Strong coder, familiar with software delivery, building, testing, supporting, and improving software and solutions
• Understand software, infrastructure, and networking basics and able to demonstrate common sense troubleshooting
• Hands- on engineering, solutions, and support for technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Able to explain recent and relevant project work, with examples and details of how requirements are shaped into working software features that users love
• Demonstrate a strong track record of continuous learning and the ability to learn quickly while also delivering solutions and business value
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
