Financial Analyst II

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst II for a high profile company in Grand Rapids, MI. This role offers significant opportunities for career advancement and direct exposure to the C-suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEC reporting and a desire to grow within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures
• Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews
• Monitor and implement new accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
• Participate in the preparation of earnings releases and other public disclosures
• Work closely with senior management and the C-suite on financial reporting matters
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
