Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:
- Financial Analyst will provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management to aid in decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain department dashboards to provide comprehensive data and key performance indicators to management
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and support strategic initiatives
- Offer financial guidance and recommendations to assist in optimizing resources and streamlining operations
- As a Financial Analyst, you will communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Review operating expenses by department and identify areas of overspending, underspending, or cost optimization
- Contribute significantly to the budgeting process, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and alignment with organizational goals
- Continuously monitor and adjust forecasts based on evolving business conditions
- Leverage strong Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data efficiently
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with financial modeling and developing performance dashboards
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion
- Experience in re-forecasting multiple times a year is preferred
- Experience in environments with frequent re-forecasting is a plus
- Familiarity with Master Pack or similar financial systems is preferred but not required
