Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our telecommunications client in Charlotte, NC. This role requires expertise in financial processes, including budget forecasting and capital/operating expense analysis. The ideal candidate will also have a strong aptitude for optimizing current workflows and identifying areas for automation. Excellent communication skills and technical proficiency are essential to succeed in this position. Responsibilities:

• Review and process daily purchase orders and integrate them into budget forecasts
• Perform detailed financial analyses, including capital and operating expense tracking, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Work closely with SharePoint to organize and manage financial data and related documentation
• Leverage Microsoft Power Automate to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency (no coding required)
• Analyze current financial processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy
• Use advanced Excel features, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to support data analysis and reporting
• Occasionally interact with high-level leadership to present findings and recommendations
• Maintain organizational tools like Smartsheets to track tasks and improve productivity
  
  

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of budget forecasting, capital and operating expenses, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for process optimization
• Familiarity with SharePoint for data management and collaboration
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes, identify gaps, and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and occasionally present to leadership
• Experience with Smartsheets for organizational purposes (preferred)
• Knowledge of JIRA or other ticketing systems (preferred)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
