Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. Summary: We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with specific experience in government contracting (GovCon) and a deep understanding of indirect rates. This role will be critical in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and decision-making processes within the organization. Financial Planning & Analysis:

This role will be critical in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and decision-making processes within the organization. Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and contract requirements
- Manage financial aspects of government contracts, including cost proposals and pricing strategies
- Monitor and report on contract performance and profitability
- Develop, analyze, and manage indirect cost rates
- Ensure accurate allocation of indirect costs to projects and contracts
- Provide guidance on indirect rate structures and their impact on financial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and strategy development
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities
- Support M&A activities and integration processes
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on government contracting
- Strong understanding of indirect rates and cost allocation principles
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
