Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. Summary: We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with specific experience in government contracting (GovCon) and a deep understanding of indirect rates. This role will be critical in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and decision-making processes within the organization. Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  
  

Government Contracting (GovCon):

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and contract requirements
• Manage financial aspects of government contracts, including cost proposals and pricing strategies
• Monitor and report on contract performance and profitability
  
  

Indirect Rates

• Develop, analyze, and manage indirect cost rates
• Ensure accurate allocation of indirect costs to projects and contracts
• Provide guidance on indirect rate structures and their impact on financial performance
  
  

Strategic Planning

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and strategy development
• Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities
• Support M&A activities and integration processes
  
  

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on government contracting
• Strong understanding of indirect rates and cost allocation principles
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
