Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fraud and Risk Analyst II in Mountain View, CA. Duties:
- Fraud and Risk Analyst II will coordinate with Risk analytics, data capabilities, database engineers, and executives to accomplish the following
- Understand and translate business requirements into clear technical action plans
- Execute on plans, clearly communicate progress, timelines and mitigate roadblocks
- Constantly explore ways to improve and automate manual processes using data, machine learning, and analytics
- Leverage data to understand our products in depth and identify trends that indicate elevated risk and inform and influence related teams where applicable
- Optimize the performance of scripts, reports, and models
- As a Fraud and Risk Analyst II, you will work with engineers to develop, test, debug and maintain accurate tracking, capturing, and reporting of risk operations metrics via server-side data collection and other database sources
- Document approaches, automation and debug steps, and scripts used in all the work
- Strong business acumen and exceptional analytical ability with 3-5 years of relevant experience with data analytics/data science/operation research
- 3-5 years of experience in analytical tools and programming languages such as databricks, Python with pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn, etc.
- Highly proficient in SQL
- Highly proficient in building effective data visualizations using Quicksight and Databricks
- Use tools and programs such as Databricks, PyCharm, DataGrip, SuperGlue, Tidal, Flask, GitHub, Plotly, Spark, Tableau, QlikView, Quicksight, Excel, JIRA and other internal tools to work efficiently at scale
- Great communication skills with the ability to clearly gather and define requirements from stakeholders, update progress within timeline and report blockers, as well as delivering and presenting results and findings to various levels of audience
- High degree of accountability, organization, and empathy
- Problem solver and passionate about solving customer pain points
- Strong Communication - both verbal and written to present analysis and findings with both technical and non-technical audiences, use data and simple language to tell a good story
- Experience in Financial Services or FinTech preferred
