Functional Analyst Level 1

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 1 Functional Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract to hire basis. This person must be local to Cincinnati and able to report to the office every M/T/W/TH. Key Tasks:

• Functional Analyst will assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting functions
• Gather Retail Operations data from multiple databases, platforms, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors to complete analyze
• Transform large data sets through data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling
• Leverage Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to reveal trends and correlations in large data sets
• Implement row level security in the Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to enable secured viewing of the reports for designated job levels and locations
• As a Functional Analyst, you will identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the data needs to execute department and enterprise-wide strategic objectives and initiatives
• Identify and communicate any data-related issues and recommendations to the business owner, manager, and the team
• Provide data insights and solutions to leaders to drive decision-making
• Standardize and solidify our client's data processes and quality
• Assist in developing business reporting
• Increase data availability, standardization and automation processes
• Problem solve and investigate issues
• Participate in all phases of system testing Work successfully in an Agile Project across multiple feature and component teams
• Complete estimates and work plans in Program Increments (PI) Meetings as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks
  
  

Requirements

• Top 3 skills: Python/R, SQL, Power BI (especially with DAX)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
