Summary: We are seeking a GPS Manager to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of GPS tracking systems across our extensive fleet of leased trailers. This role is crucial for enhancing fleet visibility, security, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

This role is crucial for enhancing fleet visibility, security, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee GPS Tracking Systems: Manage the installation, maintenance, and optimization of GPS units across all leased trailers
- Inventory Management & Forecasting: Track Inventory of GPS Units, Forecast GPS Needs, Manage Supplier Relationships, Conduct Inventory Audits, Streamline Installation Process, Optimize inventory costs
- Engage & Educate Dealerships: Regularly interact with dealerships to promote, support, teach, audit and hold them accountable for properly using the GPS program
- Monitor Fleet Performance: Ensure real-time visibility of trailer locations, tracking utilization, and detecting unauthorized movements
- Analyze GPS Data: Generate insights to improve fleet efficiency, reduce losses, and enhance asset utilization
- Vendor & Equipment Management: Work with GPS hardware/software providers to ensure the best tracking solutions are in place
- Liaison with Product & Technology: Collaborate with Product leads, engineers and developers to create intuitive and trigger-based integration to servicing systems
- Theft Prevention & Recovery: Assist in locating stolen or misplaced trailers by utilizing GPS alerts and geofencing technology
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all tracking systems meet industry regulations, and provide regular reports to fleet managers and stakeholders
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any GPS connectivity or data accuracy issues in collaboration with IT and vendors
- 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, GPS tracking systems, logistics, or asset management
- Experience with trailer leasing operations, logistics, or transportation industries is a plus
- Knowledge of geofencing, telematics, and real-time tracking alerts
- Proficiency in GPS tracking platforms, telematics systems, and data reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting GPS data and optimizing fleet operations
- Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Ability to troubleshoot GPS hardware/software issues
