Hogan Mainframe Consultant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Minneapolis, MN that is seeking a Hogan Mainframe Consultant whose primary duties will focus on hands on development, testing , application design. Responsibilities:

• The Hogan Mainframe Consultant is responsible for JCL, programming, testing, conversion monitoring and verification
• Developed and enhanced Front End support methodology for Business Analysts
• Designs develop, installs, tests, and documents complex applications software at client product installations
• The Hogan Mainframe Consultant contributes to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components
  
  

Requirements

• Substantial knowledge of the Hogan application, i.e.; Hogan Deposits (DDA & TDA), Hogan RPM, Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, Hogan PAS, Hogan ODS, Hogan CAMS
• Experience should also include extensive knowledge of Hogan's process dictionary components, and PCD's and reflect heavy involvement in conversions, development, or implementation of new releases of the Hogan systems
• Superior problem-solving capabilities and communication skills (verbal and written) are required
• Coding experience in CICS/VSAM and/or IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easytrieve, JCL, MVS operating system, Expeditor, Endeavor and/or Changeman source managers
• Mainframe skills - COBOL, VSAM & JCL
• Mainframe tools - Easytrieve, SORT Utilities, ICTOOL
• Experience working with software design, software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementation
• Experience in Hogan Core Banking Applications
• Good knowledge on below Hogan concepts: Hogan Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, Librarian, Logical Environments, Hogan Abend Identification and fixing both online & batch
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
