Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer. Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
- Maintain and troubleshoot on-premises and cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
- Collaborate with software development teams to optimize deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
- Implement and maintain security controls and compliance standards
- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management on servers and network equipment
- Develop documentation and best practices for infrastructure management
- Support disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related role
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with networking, firewalls, and security best practices
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
