Investment Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

Our Kforce client, a globally known company with offices around the world is seeking an Investment Accounting Analyst in Chesterfield, MO. This client offers a great salary and excellent benefits, annual bonuses, PTO, work/life balance. This position is scheduled as hybrid, 2 days in the office, 3 days remote. Duties:

• Prepares and reviewing financial statement that reflect the performance of investment strategies for accounting policy and investments including annual and month-end reporting
• Analyzing investment returns and performance metrics to access the profitability and risk associated with various investment instruments, providing reports and insights to management
• Working closely with finance, risk management, and investment teams to provide relevant financial insights, support decision-making processes and contribute to strategic planning
• Staying updated on industry trends
• Ensure all accounting practices meet regulatory standards and internal policies, including preparation for audits
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience: 5 years of accounting
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and performance metrics
• Technical accounting proficiency, proficiency in Excel
• Knowledgeable investment accounting principles and standards
• Working knowledge of (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
• Time Management - ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines
• Strong verbal and written skills to present results and collaborate with team members
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
