Kforce has a client that is seeking a Manager of Information Systems in Climax, CO. Overview: The Manager of Information Systems (MIS) will oversee IT operations across multiple sites in Colorado. This role is responsible for managing technical and operational demands, ensuring alignment with corporate MIS strategies, and supporting critical infrastructure, including large property areas, underground operations, and water treatment facilities. As the primary liaison between site MIS teams and corporate leadership, the Manager IS will drive the implementation of MIS strategies, advocate for technology adoption, and ensure seamless service delivery across all locations. This position also serves as the escalation point for the Site Management Team, resolving complex IT challenges and optimizing MIS resources. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee MIS Operations across multiple geographically dispersed sites in Colorado, ensuring effective IT service delivery and infrastructure support
- Manage Technical & Operational Demands, including large property areas, underground operations, and multiple critical water treatment facilities
- Serve as the Liaison between site MIS teams and corporate MIS leadership, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide IT strategies
- Partner with Site General Managers and the Site Management Team to communicate MIS objectives, provide updates, and address issues
- Drive Technology Adoption by advocating for MIS tools, processes, and best practices across all sites
- Coordinate Global IT Projects, collaborating with corporate MIS to implement new technologies and resolve site-specific IT challenges
- Supervise MIS Personnel, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities for site-based IT teams
- Evaluate & Approve IT Projects, ensuring resource availability and adherence to timelines
- Coordinate with Project Managers to support the successful rollout of new technologies and system enhancements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field OR equivalent education/experience
- 10 years of experience in Information Systems, Desktop Management, Process Automation, or a related IT discipline
- Proven IT project management experience
- Strong personnel management skills, with experience leading IT teams
- Experience supporting mining, industrial, or remote site operations
- Knowledge of underground mining IT infrastructure and water treatment facility technology
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting, but periodic travel to mine sites and corporate offices is required
- Employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures, moving machinery, electrical risks, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and explosives while working at mine sites
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain environments, including hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
- Must be able to work in high-stress environments and communicate effectively in English
