Mid-Level & Sr. Software Test Engineers

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing and established nationwide engineering technology company located i Chandler, AZ, is seeking a few Mid-Level to Senior Test Development Engineers with C or C# programming experience. This company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus and stock/RSU's. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suite (in C , or C# or Python)
• Perform manual and automated testing of software in simulation and on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Utilize and implement existing quality standards, methods, and procedures with existing business processes
• Develop and implement new quality standards, methods, and procedures not encompassed by existing business processes both internal and externally
• Learn the system operation that includes the mechanical, electrical and software functionality
• Create Test Plans and Test Cases
• Execute and analyze the functionality of engineering designs in comparison with intended functionality providing feedback on the quality, effectiveness, and performance of the designs
• Test software enhancements, defect fixes to validate and feedback on new designs
• Work with Engineering Teams in testing the system, finding appropriate usage to achieve results, define enhancements or quality improvements
  
  

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation
• Proficiency in one or more of: Python, C , or C#
• Proficiency in at least one programming language/test case management/issue tracking software
• Exposure and/or working experience with hardware is required
• Working experience in the field of System Quality Assurance, System Quality Engineering with -hands-on- experience as a Quality Engineer with a company engaged in the manufacture of complex electromechanical equipment or systems with integrated software controls or similar application would be ideal
• Experience in industries such as Aerospace, Medical Device, Semiconductor, Consumer Electronics, Automotive or other industry experience would be ideal
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with senior leadership teams and stakeholders
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  
  

Nice To Haves

• Jira/Confluence/Git/other test tools such as Test Complete or TestRail is a plus but not required
• Experience in a role configuring software applications, managing software versioning, or providing configuration management responsibilities in a software development environment a plus but not required
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines set-up is a plus but not required
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
