The Middleware Engineer is crucial for ensuring operational stability, implementing new solutions, managing lifecycles, remediating vulnerabilities, and administering middleware integration platforms that host both internal and external enterprise applications and sites.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience with middleware architectures, system design, analysis, Java application tuning, and performance management
- Proficiency with application servers such as Red Hat JBoss (JWS/EAP), Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic
- Experience with web servers like Apache, JBCS Apache, IBM HTTP Server, IIS, Nginx
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components (firewall, database, operating system, network)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for problem-solving and solution communication
- Collaborative problem-solving skills to work with other departments on complex issues
- Motivation to improve solutions and processes, reduce production incidents, and enhance quality
- Familiarity with automation technologies (Ansible, Chef, TrueSight, RunDeck, Digital.ai)
- Experience with monitoring and logging technologies (Nimsoft, SPLUNK, AppDynamics)
- Knowledge of certificate management, provisioning, and governance
- Understanding of DevOps principles (ADO, Kanban, Git)
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, or similar
- Experience with tools such as SoapUI, Postman, and Advanced Rest Client
