ML Ops Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Lehi, UT that is seeking a Senior ML Ops Engineer to develop, optimize, and automate machine learning pipelines within a cloud-based environment. This role requires a strong foundation in data engineering, machine learning operations (ML Ops), and cloud computing, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience. Key Responsibilities:

• ML Ops Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end training and evaluation pipelines for machine learning models
• Build and implement monitoring metrics to track and enhance model performance
• Automate ML workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and operationalization of models
• As a ML Ops Engineer, you will develop data pipelines for model training, integrating various sources such as cameras, cloud storage, and automated collection systems
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions in Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and data lakes
• Integrate and maintain APIs for data ingestion and model interaction
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python programming for ML and data engineering tasks
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS/Azure experience is acceptable)
• Experience working with big data, cloud storage solutions, and data lakes
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and GKE
• Strong background in data engineering, including setting up data pipelines for model training
• Expertise in ML Ops methodologies for automating and managing ML workflows
• Solid understanding of API integration and cloud-based data processing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
