Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Administrator in the Brickell, FL area. This role will be 3 days onsite and 2 remote. The first 2-3 weeks the candidate is expected onsite 5 days. Summary: The Network Administrator is responsible for supporting, configuring, and maintaining the corporate systems, networks and servers. Responsibilities include installing and integrating new server hardware and applications, and continually monitoring for necessary updates, ensuring optimal network performance and security. Additionally, the candidate will administer third-party applications, ensure systems, network, security, connectivity, and manage user accounts. Essential Functions:

- Network Administrator will fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer's networks and in house servers
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Keep an eye out for needed updates
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- As a Network Administrator, you will resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
- Other duties may be assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Network Certification
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in a network administrator role
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
- Advanced Skills with Microsoft Office
- Mathematical skills
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish; Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages
