Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Developer in Doral, FL. Summary: This position is responsible for developing a Power BI dashboard for the HVAC Energy Management System. This position will help to automate and optimize the ETL process and ensure data is up to date and accurate. You will collaborate with various stakeholders in developing the dashboard and implementing improvements based on their feedback. Duties:

• Develop HVAC Performance Dashboard showing temperature set points vs actual, power consumption and other relevant data for various HVAC units based on specifications set by stakeholders
• Building data models and connecting dashboard to various data sources; Implementing advanced level transformations and calculations using PowerQuery/DAX
• Collaborate with data team to automate and optimize HVAC data ETL process
• Review data quality and ensure data is up to date and accurate
• Provide documentation of the reporting process, dataflow, calculations used, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, statistics or related field
• 2 years of experience with Python, SQL and data architecture
• 2 years of experience with Power BI
• Experience as a Power BI Developer or related field (Data Scientist, Analyst)
• Experience in ETL processing with Python, querying SQL Server and building reports/processes with Power BI
• Critical professional related technical skills; Computer skills, SQL, Python and Power BI
• Experience with Azure Data Factoy, SharePoint, PowerAutomate, web app development, machine learning is a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
