Kforce client in San Francisco, CA that is looking for a Principal Product Manager for Mobile applications to develop and execute the mobile app strategy. Responsibilities:
- The Principal Product Manager will collaborate with product managers and designers, engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences through the mobile app
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product strategy, development, and launch plans
- Define and prioritize product features, requirements, and roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including e-commerce, in-home design, in-store, gift registry, and content teams, to ensure a unified mobile app experience
- Manage product budgets and timelines to ensure delivery on time and on budget
- The Principal Product Manager will stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
- Guide a team of Mobile App Product Managers on strategy and execution
- 8-10 years of experience in mobile app product development and management
- 3 years of experience in the retail industry
- Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, mobile app analytics and reporting
- Experience with native mobile app development (iOS and Android)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based mobile app development platforms
- Passionate about ecommerce, with a strong emphasis on customer-centricity and user experience
- Experience managing relationships with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and documenting those requirements in the form of user stories; plus, working with development teams
- Experience with Jira & Confluence, specifically authoring effective JIRA stories for functional requirements, detailed acceptance criteria and prioritization with delivery teams
- Drive functional backlog prioritization and lead various requirement discussions for product enhancements
- Proven track record of launching successful products and driving business growth
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of business and technology partners
